Here we have a vintage mid-century military inspection lamp made in England by R.E.A.L lighting.
 
It’s been fully restored by us. When we acquired the lamp it was in a very sorry state painted in a drab and very chipped battleship grey. It wasn’t very appealing like that so we had it sandblasted back to bare metal and polished. It was then clear powder coated giving it a fantastic hard finish that will last for years. The brass parts were all polished and they complement the silver finish really well.
 
The lamp has been wired with 1.5m of period correct black braided cable and it has an inline switch and UK 3 pin plug fitted. To complete the lamp we have fitted a vintage style Edison filament bulb.
 
This is a very versatile lamp which can be clamped to a shelf or other surface. The main cage can be rotated through 360 degrees as can the light deflector shield.
