Its a Herbert Terry & Sons 1227 Anglepoise lamp. This model was made between 1938 - 1968. It has the classic 2 step base and adjustable spring tension. This particular lamp was made around 1960. Making it just over 60 years old :-) .
 
It's had a full bare metal restoration. It's been finished with satin black powder coat. Its fully re-wired with lovely period correct red braided cable. It's fully earthed and it has been PAT tested. 
 
It has some minor pitting to the shade and some very minor indentations.
