The starting piece for this awesome lamp was Kodak Cresta II camera.   The Cresta II camera was made in the UK from 1957 - 1959 and it was extremely popular. 
 
The camera was in great condition when we acquired it so no restoration was necessary. To turn it into a lamp we made a custom bulb holder that matches the bakelite camera really well. The lamp was then wired with 1.5m of antique style braided cable 
 
The lamp is finished off with a vintage edison bulb. The lamp is earthed and has been PAT tested for electrical safety.
 
This is a truly stunning lamp, perfect for a desk or sideboard. It's a real conversation piece with some fantastic history.
