This incredible desk / table lamp is not only a fully functional lamp but also a stunning piece of art.

This is a converted medical heat lamp originally made in the 1930s . The lamp is made up of a polished aluminium shade with a stunning art deco base. It has some nice brass feature bolts as well.

When we found this lamp the paint was in poor condition so rather than restore it to it's original look we completely removed all of the paint and gave it a polished finish. All of the metal parts of this wonderful lamp have been clear powder coated. This gives a hard resilient finish that will last for another 90 years ! There are some minor marks on the dome but this is 90 + years old after all and these do nothing to detract from the beauty of this lamp.

What makes this lamp really unique is that it can be wall mounted as well !!!

Electrically, this lamp has had all new components, including a custom made bulb holder that allows the lamp to use a wide variety of E27 bulbs. The lamp has a generous 1.5mtr power cable and an inline switch. All of our lamps are professionally wired and are fully earthed.

The light comes with an Edison E27 LED golf ball bulb. This gives a beautiful white light from the front and it casts amazing shadows through the front grill. The front grill is easily removable allowing the use of much larger bulbs if required. .

When lit the light looks stunning and the rings of the reflector look amazing. The photos really don't do it any justice at all.

The dome on this Lamp can also be angled downwards allowing you to highlight an object or area with the lamp

This is not just beautiful light but a great piece of art that is guaranteed to be a conversation piece for years to come!
