Check out this super cool Cotton Bobbin Lamp.

This is a real one off, totally unique Lamp.

We started with a really nice vintage cotton bobbin. It's probably 1940 - 1950's. It had a lovely age worn finish that we enhanced with some gentle polishing. Whats nice about this one is that it has metal edging on both end's of the bobbin.

For the electrification we took a vintage style lamp holder and gave it a brushed aluminium finish. It was then clear powder coated to give it a nice sheen. We then added 1.5m of vintage braided cable and an inline switch.  Its finished with an Edison incandescent vintage globe bulb. The filament is clearly visable in use and it has a lovely warm white glow to it.

It's clean, it's simple and it looks cool. Don't miss this one as it wont be around for very long.

The lamp is earthed for electrical safety and PAT tested.
