This incredible desk / table lamp is not only a fully functional lamp but also a stunning piece of art.

The starting piece for this lamp was a 1940's Monitor Paraffin Blow Lamp. This was sympathetically cleaned and restored to expose the true beauty of the piece. To do this we lightly cleaned the main body of the blow torch. The strap and handle were professionally powder coated in the original red colour.

The end of the blow torch was then adapted to accept a vintage brass effect light fitting. This was professionally wired with period correct red braided 3 core vintage cable. The cable is a generous 1.2 metres long and is fitted with an inline switch and 3 pin fused plug.

To put the finishing touches to the light we have used a smoked T150 E27 screw fitting Edison led Light Bulb (included). This gives a beautiful white light and the cross pattern looks very cool.

When lit the light looks like a science fiction ray gun; truly spectacular. The photos really don't do it any justice at all.

This is not just beautiful light but a great piece of art that is guaranteed to be a conversation piece for years to come!
