This incredible desk / table lamp is not only a fully functional lamp but also a stunning piece of art.
 
The starting piece for this lamp was a 1940's Swedish Made Max Sievert Paraffin Blow Lamp. This was sympathetically cleaned and restored to expose the true beauty of the piece. To do this we lightly cleaned the main body of the blow torch. The strap was professionally powder coated in the original black colour to further bring out the beauty of the blow torch. The blow torch has lovely engraving on both the front and rear. The engraving is clear and adds a lot of character to the piece. 
 
The end of the blow torch was then adapted to accept a vintage style light fitting. This was professionally wired with period correct braided 3 core vintage cable.  The cable is a generous 1.5 metres long and is fitted with an inline switch and 3 pin fused plug.
 
To put the finishing touches to the light we have used a smoked E27 screw fitting Edison Light Bulb (included). This gives a beautiful warm light. The lamp has been fully PAT tested.
 
When lit the light looks like a 1950's ray gun truly spectacular. The photos really don't do it any justice at all.
 
This is not just beautiful light but a great piece of art that is guaranteed to be a conversation piece for years to come!
