At Blue Chalk Designs we like to create unique items. This is definitely one of them !!. Its based around a 1950's Sirrom brass topped fire extinguisher.

This vintage fire extinguisher has a fantastic worn finish and a massive brass top. When we acquired it the extinguisher was very grubby so we gave it a deep clean and gently polished the brass. We then fabricated the dual bulb mount from reclaimed copper tube and brass fittings. Their worn finish matches well with the patina on the extinguisher.
 
For the electrification we used two vintage style brass effect bulb holders. The lamp was wired with period correct, braided 3 core cable and it is fitted with an inline switch and UK plug. The bulbs are Vintage Edison Style T185 40w tube bulbs.

This is a large lamp suitable for using as a floor lamp or as a table lamp.
