1950's Mid Century Laboratory Task Lamp by Griffin & George Ltd.
 
Griffin & George Ltd were manufactures of high quality laboratory apparatus throughout the second half of the 20th Century.
 
This lamp has a bakelite base with with high quality flexi neck and an aluminium shade.  This lamp has been restored by us and all steel and aluminium parts have been cleaned and lacquered to keep the finish. The shade has some minor dents to its underneath but these don't detract from this lamp at all. The lamp has been re-wired with period styled braided cable and it comes with and Edison vintage bulb. It's fully earthed and has been PAT tested for electrical safety.
 
It's a great desk lamp thats suitable for task or general lighting.  These are getting rare now so don't miss this one.
